One goal and one week later…

This holiday season, SmallCanBeBig has witnessed some remarkable acts of generosity and kindness. One supporter made it her mission to raise enough money to help this family off our site and into a home.

Nicole, the owner of Stitch in Melrose, MA, did something BIG and yet also wonderfully simple. For a week, she offered to gift-wrap for her customers in exchange for a donation. 

What Nicole found after talking to over a hundred customers and the shop-owners around her was that most could not believe how simple and straightforward SCBB is: a fundraising model that is more direct, more personal, more local, and more shared. People were excited and inspired to help. 

Stitch’s success tells the story: the store raised $1,571 in six days.
