New Year’s Resolution: Staying Strong, Staying Home
Please help relieve these parents of this one worry in the multitude with which they’ve been challenged. Your donation of, or contribution to, the overdue rent ($1,235.00) frees the B’s up to concentrate on finding new treatments to save their daughter’s young life—or at least bring her some measure of comfort. Baby B can’t leave the apartment for fear of germs, so the B’s apartment is the world she makes the best of—when she feels up to it—creating the art work she loves and pretending to be mommy to her favorite doll. She watches and energetically cheers the Red Sox and Steelers with her family. Sometimes she has big brother to play with during the day, when potential exposure to other sick kids, requires him to stay home from school. Despite ingesting eight daily medications, heavy doses of steroids for the burns and rashes and stunted growth, Baby B has a sunny disposition. After all, she’s been intimate with this disease for two-and-half of her four year life. Your donation will ensure that Baby B isn’t pushed out of her haven and has a home to return to when she has to go into the hospital for a procedure/treatment. $1,235.00 makes that possible and helps the B’s get on an even keel again. Imagine Baby B’s beautiful smile as you make your contribution to that $1,235.00. Imagine the family’s relief from your giving them financial breathing room. Baby B thanks you—she might even create a masterpiece about it. Please donate whatever you can, of the $1,235.00, to help Baby B keep her only refuge from the sterile hospitals. Thank you!
